After launching last month for PC, the latest update for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. You can check out the patch notes here for more details.

In a nutshell, it adds new screen features to Metal Gear Solid 1, like smoothing and a filter to enable scanlines. There are also options for displaying the game in Standard, Pixel Perfect and 16:9. It’s worth noting that 16:9 isn’t widescreen but a stretched version of the Standard gameplay.

Audio settings have also been added to every game in the collection, allowing one to adjust the volume in-game and the main menu. Stay tuned for more details on further updates for the collection. You can also check out our review here.

In other Metal Gear Solid-related news, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is coming this year to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, according to a new trailer from PlayStation.
