The update adds smoothing, a scanline filter, and screen options for Metal Gear Solid 1, including 16:9 (which isn't widescreen).
The update goes live in early January 2024, adding new screen features like a 16:9 presentation and a scanline filter for MGS1.
Ver.1.3.1 also fixes minor issues and makes "additional adjustments" to the Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S and PS4 versions.
