Metaphor ReFantazio

Atlus broadcast a digital showcase for Metaphor: ReFantazio, its next big role-playing game, outlining its different elements. To kick things off, developer Studio Zero revealed that it will launch on October 11th worldwide. Check out the trailer below.

Set in the fantasy kingdom of Euchronia, Metaphor: ReFantazio is about the assassination of its king and a Royal Tournament to determine the next. As a boy from an Elda tribe, considered inferior in the world, players venture throughout various towns, cities and other areas to garner support. Much like the Persona series, managing your time is essential, and you’ll also encounter allies to assist you.

Metaphor: ReFantazio will launch on Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC worldwide (with a rumored Nintendo Switch 2 version also in the works). Direction by Katsura Hashino of Persona 5 fame, Atlus wants it to be a “third pillar” alongside Shin Megami Tensei and Persona. Stay tuned for more details from the showcase.
