Metro Exodus

Metro: Exodus was announced with a very impressive trailer exactly one year ago at Microsoft’s E3 press conference last year- it’s fitting, then, that a pretty meaty gameplay trailer was shown off for the game once again at their press event for this year, held earlier today.

For starters, even though even though the game’s received major visual downgrades from its E3 2017 showing (which is something we’ve actually known for some time now), it still looks stunning. From the environments to the weather effects to the character and weapon models, Exodus seems to be crammed full of detail, and its all on full display in this trailer.

There’s also a ton of gameplay footage in here, and it’s showing stuff that Metro fans may not be used to- the outdoors. Unlike the claustrophobic underground environments the series has largely features in the past two games, this gameplay trailer shows off icy outdoors environments quite a lot. There’s also a lot of gunplay, hints of weapon customization, looks at mutated monsters, and teases of what the story might hold in the trailer. You can take a look at it below.

Metro Exodus launches on February 22, 2019 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Stick with GamingBolt for continued coverage on the game.
