4A Games has released a new video in the Ranger Survival Guide series for their upcoming first person survival shooter Metro: Last Light, set in an apocalyptic future full of monstrosities and the refuge of humanity.

This chapter looks at your weapons and inventory systems, talks about the bullet economy and gun-trading – wherein you can exchange different items for potential upgrades – and customizing weapons. It also looks at the use of light for evading danger and fighting off enemies.

As the sequel to Metro 2033, Last Light casts you as Artyom, a survivor in post-apocalyptic Moscow who must become the sole hope for the human race as civil war breaks about among humanity and the race for possessing a dangerous doomsday weapon rages on. That’s not counting the mutants by the way.

Metro: Last Light is set to release for Xbox 360, PC and PS3 on May 14th in North America and May 17th in Europe.
