Now that 2017 has officially kicked off, Microsoft is working on bringing a new UI update to the Xbox One’s dashboard. While we don’t know all the details yet, or when the UI refresh is officially going to land we do know that the company is going to be changing the way the home button works.

According to a recent blog post, when users push the home button the guide is going to pop up in just one push. The company has also said the guide is going to be featuring items that Microsoft users have found the most useful.

Users will also be able to shoot videos of gameplay, as well as set the length of those clips right from the guide. Players will also be able to access the clips from the guide. While this isn’t a massive update, it is one that users are likely going to hail. Microsoft has issued a number of updates, and all of them have made the UI a bit better.
