Xbox One Price and Availability
In the seventh console generation the Xbox 360 held a considerable lead over the PS3 initially, mostly due to the gulf between the price of both systems. Microsoft would be foolish to leave the price unchecked on the Xbox One, as it’s likely Sony will be giving disclosure on the cost of the PS4. We should also expect a more firm release window to be established, especially if the system is actually going to launch at the end of this year as previously claimed by MS.
Xbox One TV Partnerships
With Xbox One featuring TV integration as one of its primary multimedia features, more info on how this will practically work will be essential to clear up any misunderstandings at E3. That and, considering the recent rumours about Sky partnering up with MS to provide Xbox One units as part of a TV subscription, we may also get some concrete information about how TV integration will work outside of the states.
Xbox One Online Features
Having recently confirmed that the Xbox One must be connected to the internet at least once every 24 hours in order to function, some of our worst fears about an always online console may be coming true. The problem isn’t necessary in the offline restriction, but merely that the Xbox One doesn’t yet have an all essential suite of online features that justify this kind of limitation. We got a look at Skype and multi-tasking features like fantasy sports teams alongside TV streaming at the Xbox One reveal, but Microsoft will hopefully be announcing more online features to justify their almost always online policy.
