With COVID still active in many parts of the world, actually getting out and seeing the world is a pretty hard thing to do, or at the very least, a very risky thing to do. But if you happen to have a PC beefy enough, you can see it virtually with Microsoft Flight Simulator, the 2020 revival of the flight-based simulation series. And the world will get even more polish soon.

The game has been getting consistent updates since launch, and now they are focusing on improving areas of the world. The last one focused on Japan, adding in several key landmarks and airports. In a livestream on the official Twitch, it was said the next world update would focus on the United States. No details where given as to what to expect, after all the US is a huge place, only that it will launch at some point this year, but it too will most likely focus on new airports and landmarks that didn’t make the original launch.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is available now on PC with the game set to come to Xbox consoles at some point in the near future.
