Insomniac Games is interested though.

Insomniac Games’ Sunset Overdrive is one of the best Xbox One exclusives available today and thanks to Microsoft being its publisher, it will be staying on the platform for a good long time. However, with so many “exclusives” now being released for Xbox One and Windows 10, will Sunset Overdrive also make the leap?

Insomniac Games is certainly interested and stated numerous times that it would like to release a PC version (along with interest in developing Sunset Overdrive 2). Microsoft likes the game but a spokesperson told GameSpot that it has no news on whether a PC version will happen.

“Insomniac Games is a great partner and we love working with them. We are all proud of Sunset Overdrive and are always looking at ways to bring games to our fans. We have no further news at this time.”

Never say never but at this point, Sunset Overdrive appears to share the same fate with Halo 5: Guardians when it comes a PC release, even if the latter’s Forge mode and content browser is available for Windows 10 users. Would you like to see the open world shooter on PC? Let us know below.
