Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo keynotes absent at GDC

Posted By | On 03rd, Mar. 2010

This year’s GDC (March 9th-13th, San Fransisco) will be headlined by a speech from Sid Meier, as there will be no main keynote from either of the Big Three, VG247 was told.

There will however be a demo of the Sony Motion Controller; this isn’t keynote though, and will be carried out by the Sony support developers.

Think Services did not comment on the absentees.

Peter Molyneux (Fable developer), Tim Schafer (Double Fine boss) and Final Fantasy XIII director Motomu Toriyama are all confirmed for talks at GDC this year.

GDC has been home to many great announcements over the years, such as the revealing of Little Big Planet and Gears of War 2, so let’s keep our fingers crossed for March 9th.
