Xbox Game Pass is clearly at the center of Microsoft’s strategy as it moves into the next generation of consoles, and everything from their renewed focus on PC gaming, to their continued support of the Xbox One, to their planned support for the upcoming Xbox Series X will revolve around the subscription service. With its reasonable subscription prices and the vast and compelling library of games it offers – including day and date releases for all Microsoft first party games – it’s already an incredibly attractive package, but it seems Microsoft will soon be revealing even more reasons to jump aboard the Xbox Game Pass train, if you haven’t done so already.
Over on Twitter, GamesBeat’s Jeff Grubb – while talking about Microsoft’s recent decision to drop the “Xbox 20/20” branding for their rollout of next-gen information – said that Microsoft will soon talk about “yet another big reason to get Game Pass”. He says this information will be coming in the next two to three weeks. What this could be is anyone’s best guess, but Grubb clarified in a subsequent tweet that it’s not any particular game. Which means we should probably expect something along the lines of the recent announcement of xCloud coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Grubb also mentioned that information on the relentlessly leaked Xbox Series S will also be arriving within that same timeframe, which is something he’s previously mentioned as well. Xbox boss Phil Spencer recently said that more Xbox Series X information will be arriving later in August, so this definitely falls in line with that.
Meanwhile, as part of the recent next-gen Xbox leaks, the release date for the Xbox Series X may have also been confirmed for early November. Read more on that through here.
Like I said, it's going to be kind of an Xbox Month. It already did the xCloud announcement, and Phil already showed up on the Samsung Galaxy thing. Should still expect to see more about Xbox Series S and yet another big reason to get Game Pass in the next 2-to-3 weeks. https://t.co/Vc9c0HSix0

It's not any specific game or anything like that. For example, Cyberpunk is not coming to Game Pass at launch. https://t.co/QMda2fGUBj.
