Microsoft Will Discuss Its Next Wave Of Big Hits At E3, Says Xbox Boss Phil Spencer

Now what could this wave of new hits be...?

Posted By | On 11th, May. 2017

All eyes are on Microsoft and their E3 showing for this year- the company is slated to reveal the Xbox One Scorpio, the next iteration of the Xbox platform, at the event, and whether or not it goes down well with gamers will depend entirely on the game support for it that Microsoft can garner.

During Microsoft’s Financial Analyst Briefing 2017 in Seattle, Xbox boss Phil Spencer said that Microsoft is getting ready to reveal its next wave of big gaming hits at E3 this year. Understanding that good games are what drives engagement with profitable platforms like Xbox Live, Spencer assured those in attendance that Microsoft will reveal a new batch of hits at the event to continue the service’s growth.

That sounds reasonably exciting- I wonder what Microsoft is planning on revealing? Given the emphasis placed on Xbox Live, however, it does sound like whatever they do end up showcasing will have a strong online, monetizable component.
