Middle-Earth Shadow of War Could Support Shadow of Mordor Saves

Monolith not saying anything at this time though.

Monolith’s Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is taking its Nemesis system to a whole new level of scale. We already saw the benefits of this with stronghold assaults and whatnot but will the Nemesis from Shadow of Mordor carry over into the sequel?

Speaking to Games Radar, Monolith Productions creative vice president Michael de Plater talked about the possibility of save transfer between the games. “Oh…I don’t remember what we’re allowed to say about that.”

de Plater then asked for confirmation from a Warner Bros. representative and replied, “We’re not saying anything at this time.”

It’s not quite impossible but there are plenty of technicalities to work around like previous gen saves and whatnot. Regardless, given how many unique scenarios the Nemesis system in Shadow of War can create, we won’t be left wanting for enemies to kill or brainwash.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War is out on August 22nd for PS4, Xbox One and PC. What are your thoughts on it so far? Let us know in the comments.
