Mighty No. 9 Will Be Cross Buy on PlayStation

Even if you buy the retail version!

Mighty No. 9 Action

Cross Buy is an amazing thing, and definitely one of Sony’s best initiatives of the last few years. It also bolsters Sony’s PlayStation ecosystem, and gives consumers an incentive to purchase games within that ecosystem whenever possible. And that continues, with one of the most awaited games of the year confirmed to be Cross Buy on PlayStation when it releases, even with the retail version.

Mighty No. 9 will be Cross Buy across PS3, PS4, and PS Vita when it launches in September- it will be supported across all digital versions, but also if you buy the retail PS4 version (the PS3 version is only getting a digital release).

That right there is a good move, and automatically makes the PlayStation version of the game far more appealing than the others; that said, Nintendo offers a Cross Buy initiative on the eShop now as well, so it remains to be seen if the developers will be supporting this with the Wii U/3DS versions as well.

Mighty No. 9 will launch in September on PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Nintendo 3DS, and Nintendo Wii U.
