The first paid DLC for Minecraft Dungeons, Jungle Awakens, is available and it offers new loot and new locations to scour. One location in particular should be of interest to end-game players. It’s called Panda Plateau and though it takes a bit of effort to unlock, the farming possibilities are immense.
First, head to Dingy Jungle and go to the “Cross the Canyon” objective. There should be a path that leads off to the side, which should take you to a door. Enter the door, activate the switches and you’ll receive the scroll for Panda Plateau which opens it up for access from the level select screen. Since this is a secret level, the path to accessing the scroll will be randomly generated. If it doesn’t appear, simply reload and try again.
So why is Panda Plateau so good for loot farming? It’s not too big and has a pretty good amount of chests, including potential Obsidian Chests. Equip the Boots of Swiftness and Evocation Robe along with armor that can deflect arrows. You don’t need lots of speed to get these chests – it just makes the process that much faster.
Now run the level, avoiding any regular enemies and only completing the events since these are where chests can spawn. Check out all the possible chest locations in the handy video guide below. Though chest spawns are random, you can still amass a large amount of loot this way.
