Mojang’s Minecraft Dungeons is out next month and has thus far been impressing us with its brand of Diablo-lite isometric combat. While we’ve seen explanations on the level and environment design, especially with regards to procedural generation, how is the loot looking? The official Twitter for the game has revealed this in a new video.
The player equips two Unique items and a Common item, namely Fox Armor, an Elite Power Bow and a Flaming Quiver. While it seems like a build meant for running around and setting things on fire, closer inspection reveals an Enchantment for the armor that creates a fire trail. The bow has Enchantments for rapid fire and piercing shots, good for clearing multiple enemies.
Each item has their own share of stats but they’re pretty easy to discern without going too over-the-top. Will crafting help to re-roll stats and create perfect rolls? What requirements will have to be fulfilled for Enchantments? Minecraft Dungeons releases in April for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch so stay tuned for more details.
Burn them all! With the right combination of weapons, armour and enchantments, you’ve got everything you need to turn your enemies to toast. pic.twitter.com/F4X0u8es21
