4J Studios’ Minecraft: PS4 Editon is now available for players and like the Xbox One version – which will be out tomorrow – an upgrade offer is available for those with the PS3 version.

Those with the PS3 version will be able to upgrade to the PS4 version for 3.99 euros. Those who are picking up the PS4 edition separately will have to 18.99 euros, which is the full price for the game. That’s what you get for not dabbling in Minecraft in the first place.

The PS4 Edition will be similar to the Xbox One Edition in that it supports four player split-screen, 8 players over Xbox Live and worlds larger than the PS3 version’s by 36 times. If you’ve purchased any DLC for the PS3 version or want to shift your saved content over to the PS4, you’ll be able to do that as well.

Will you be partaking in Minecraft for the PS4? Let us know in the comments.
