Monster Hunter 4
Despite releasing exclusively for the 3DS, with no Western release confirmed as of yet, Capcom executive corporate officer and director Katsuhiko Ichii is hopeful that the game will achieve record breaking sales. In an interview with Famitsu, Ichii stated that, “About the quality of the game, we think we can offer the best. I hope we’ll achieve unprecedented, record breaking sales.”

We don’t doubt the popularity of Monster Hunter – even if the recent games haven’t exactly set the charts on fire in Japan. Monster Hunter 4 will be revamping the series significantly though, featuring the largest number of NPCs yet, the ability to climb up terrain and grab on to monsters, destructible environments and monsters that will use the environment to their advantage.

This isn’t including the new travelling base camp and larger world, to go with the improved story. Monster Hunter 4 will be releasing on September 14th for the 3DS in Japan.
