Famitsu has released some new footage for Capcom’s upcoming Monster Hunter 4, releasing on September 14th in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS. This showcases an intermediate difficulty battle with Tetsukabura, a monster that resides in a cave underground, deep within the earth.

Capcom has also revealed some new screenshots for the same, which you can check out below.

Monster Hunter 4 will function significantly differently from other games in the series, as players can now climb walls and move about the environment more easily. Monsters will also be able to traverse terrain, and will use the same to their advantage. You’ll be able to latch on to monsters this time around though, if bucking bronco on a behemoth interests you.

The game will also feature a traveling base camp, the largest collection of NPCs in the series yet and the ability to attack mid-air. Stay tuned for more details as Gamescom 2013 gets underway.
