Monster Hunter Rise - Somnacanth

Monster Hunter Rise got its first major post-launch update last month, adding new monsters, new decorations, and much more to the game, and if Monster Hunter World was any indication, that’s just the beginning of what Capcom has planned for the game. Update 3.0 is coming as well, and we’ll be getting details on it soon enough.

Capcom has announced a new Monster Hunter Digital Event for Wednesday, May 26. It will go live at 7 AM PDT / 15:00 BST. In addition to details about Update 3.0 for Monster Hunter Rise, Capcom will also be sharing new details on the upcoming spinoff RPG, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. We got plenty of new details on both games at the last digital event in April, so we can probably look forward to meaty new updates once again.

Monster Hunter Rise is currently available on Switch, and launches for PC some time in 2022. Meanwhile, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin launches for Switch and PC on July 9.
