Monster Hunter Rise

A new trailer for Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise was showcased during The Game Awards 2020, highlighting The Rampage that affected Kamura Village. It also offers a look at some new environments, monsters and armor sets. Check out the latest trailer below.

The two new monsters in the trailer are Somnacanth and Bishaten – the former lulls Hunters to sleep while the latter is described as a trickster. A massive pyramid of sorts is also seen, which players can scale and run down the length of. Magnamalo, the new flagship monster, is also spotted and may have something to do with The Rampage.

Monster Hunter Rise is out on March 26th 2021 for the Nintendo Switch. But before that, a free demo will be releasing in January 2021. It should provide a taste of some of the monsters, weapons and mechanics that players will be engaging with. Stay tuned for further details in the coming weeks.
