Capcom has confirmed that the last update for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will release on June 8th. The Bonus Update adds Primordial Malzeno, a stronger version of the Elder Dragon. New armor for Hunters, Palamutes and Palicoes is being added, along with new weapons. Check out the trailer below.
Primordial Malzeno is available from Master Rank 10, which is probably not the rank you want to be when fighting it. The update will also add improvements to Armor Augmentation and new Decorations. There are also new Event Quests till July 27th, which add new Layered Armor, poses, accessories, and more.
For those on Xbox One, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, Title Update 4 and 5, and the Bonus Update, will be available as a single update on August 24th. It includes Velkhana, Amatsu and Primordial Malzeno; new Risen Elder Dragons like Risen Crimson Glow Valstrax and Risen Shagaru Magala; and more.
As for the franchise’s future, perhaps the publisher will reveal more at its next Capcom Showcase on June 12th. Stay tuned.
