A new pair of videos is available for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, showcasing the newest abilities that Long Sword and Lance wielders can use in the upcoming expansion. The Long Sword gets a new Silkbind Attack called Harvest Moon. This creates a ring in the surrounding area – landing any counters within this deals extra hits to the monster.

There’s also the Sacred Sheathe Combo, which provides a more powerful combo the longer your weapon is sheathed. As for the Lance, it gets Skyward Thrust where the user soars into the sky and then comes plummeting back down (much like with the Insect Glaive). You also have Shield Tackle which allows for…tackling an enemy with the shield.

Two more weapon trees – the Light Bowgun and Dual Blades – have yet to receive trailers for their new abilities so stay tuned. Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is out on June 30th for PC and Nintendo Switch. for more details on its new features, like the Switch Skill Swap, Followers and more, head here.
