Monster Hunter Rise

As leaked earlier today, Monster Hunter Rise received a new trailer and details during the new Nintendo Direct. It finally showcased what the Rampage is – an onslaught of monsters with players mounting different defenses to hold them back. Check it out below.

Returning monsters like Volvidon are showcased along with a new monster, Almudron. These can be encountered in the new volcanic and desert areas respectively, offering some unique moves. As for the Rampage, players will utilize different tools – like Dragonators – to prevent monsters from breaking through.

At the end of the trailer, we see Hinoa and Minoto taking up arms to help fight back against the calamity, the former wielding a bow while the latter has a lance. A new snazzy Nintendo Switch bundle and Switch Pro controller based on the game were also showcased. Monster Hunter Rise is out on March 26th for Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned for more details on it in the coming weeks.
