Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin has been out for a while now, and Capcom has kept up a steady stream of support for the game in the months since its release. Title Update 5 for the game is live now, and it adds some new content for players to dive into, including new monsters, co-op quests, subquests, and more.
The update adds a high difficulty co-op exclusive quest for Fatalis, while Silver Rathalos and Gold Rathian have also been added to the game. Meanwhile, six nine star co-op quests and four eight star subquests have also been added. Finally, the update also brings various bug fixes. You can check out the full patch notes below.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is available on Nintendo Switch and PC. You can read our review of the game through here. A couple of weeks after the game’s release, Capcom announced that it had surpassed 1 million shipments and digital sales worldwide.

BUG FIXES / MISCELLANIOUS
- Fixed a bug that causes the player to enter into battle with Jade Barroth when they make contact with a Ruby Basarios in the “(Explore) Water Eggs” Co-Op Quest.
- Fixed a bug that prevents the player from moving when they use a Catavan Stand to travel to a different location immediately after breaking all the monster parts in the S. Elder’s Lair – Z6 trial.
- Other miscellaneous bug fixes have been made.
