Following an impressive debut in the UK physical sales charts and Japan’s sales charts, Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin has passed one million in total shipments and digital sales worldwide. Cumulative sales of the series passed 72 million as of March 31st so the RPG could have a bigger sales impact when the total is updated.
Released on July 9th for Nintendo Switch and PC, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin follows the descendant of Red (protagonist of the first game) who meets a Wyverian girl named Ena. Soon, he’s involved with Razewing Ratha, a black-winged baby Rathalos which is believed to bring ruin to the world.
