Those who played Monster Hunter Rise gain a nice little bonus when playing Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. The Kamura Garb can be unlocked in the latter as Layered Armor if you have save data from the former. After the game checks for the save data, cimply head into your home in Mahana Village and access the chest. Then head to the Appearance tab and look for the option “Layered Armor” to equip the Kamura Garb.
The set itself is cosmetic – it doesn’t bestow any unique stats or provide a boost to your skills. But it looks cool and that’s what really counts.
How to Earn Zenny and XP Quickly
To garner a good amount of Zenny and XP, it’s worth repeating quests for their rewards. But what’s a good quest in the early-going that can be completed quickly? The answer is “Roly-Poly Problems” – it provides 1200 Zenny, two Insect Husks and 20 XP. All you have to do is go to North Kamuna Island, which is fairly close by, and take down six Yellow Konchu. At higher levels, use Auto-Complete to farm this even faster.
For earning more XP, the Larinoth Trial Quest – and Trial Quests in general – are worth doing. It’s a 1 Star quest that provides a Gold Fragment when finished in one turn on the first completion. However, because it’s fairly easy, you can farm it continuously for XP. You also receive Lucky Charms which can be used to upgrade the Prayer Pot. This will provide a number of different boosts including XP gained. It can also be used to increase the chances of finding Monsties with rare genes, rare items from fights and whatnot.
