After it was confirmed that Monster Hunter Stories would be arriving in Europe on September 8th, Nintendo has now revealed that the spin-off RPG to Capcom’s prestigious series would hit the United States on the same day.

Even better, a free demo for the game will be available on the eShop for 3DS on August 10th. Downloading the demo will allow players to continue their progress in the full game should they purchase it.

Monster Hunter Stories is a turn-based RPG where the player must gather and hatch monster eggs. Each beast provides different abilities and assists in battles along with traversing the world. However, players will still need to craft weapons and armour and there’s a multiplayer battle mode for those who wish to face off.

Those seeking a mainline Monster Hunter title can look forward to Monster Hunter World which is out in early 2018 for Xbox One and PS4. The PC release will follow later.
