The open beta for Monster Hunter Wilds kicks off this week, but PlayStation Plus subscribers get early access starting today at 8 PM PDT. The pre-load is currently available, making it much quicker to jump in when the beta goes live.
The early access beta is available on PS5 until October 30th, but non-PS Plus subscribers and those on other platforms can start playing from October 31st, 8 PM PDT, to November 3rd. Pre-loads for the same go live on October 30th, 8 PM PDT.
As with previous betas, players can hunt a limited roster of monsters, specifically the Chatacabra and Doshagum. You can also create and customize a Hunter with the data carrying over to the game and engage in cross-play. If you favor offline play, Support Hunters are also available.
Monster Hunter Wilds launches on February 28th, 2025, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out the latest trailer, which showcases a new locale, Oilwell Basin, and three new monsters, including the mysterious Black Flame.
