Capcom has released a new introductory video for the Monster Hunter series, narrated by actor Daisy Ridley. It provides a strong primer on everything you should know, from the balance between monsters and Hunters and the existence of Elder Dragons to some of the legendary beasts. Check it out below.
However, the most interesting part for long-time players is perhaps near the end, where Monster Hunter Wilds pops up. The Forbidden Lands signifies the world’s evolution, with monsters roaming in herds and weather conditions significantly changing the land on a dynamic basis. As secrets lay, waiting to be uncovered, an image of two serpents – black and white – can be seen.
Perhaps these are two new Elder Dragons players will encounter. Then again, maybe it’s a hint of Fatalis and White Fatalis, the strongest monsters in the franchise. As always, time will tell.
