Monster Hunter Wilds

With Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds set to release early next year, a new showcase has been announced for October 23rd, 7 AM PST. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto will be on hand, revealing new details about the title, though further specifics are unknown.

As the latest title in the acclaimed action RPG series, Monster Hunter Wilds takes players to the Forbidden Lands to investigate a new monster, Arkveld. They’ll explore new locales like the Windward Plains and Scarlet Forest, each with unique wildlife, climates, and features. A new feature sees the overall ecosystem, including materials and indigenous life, changing with the weather.

Exploration has also been overhauled, with players able to set up camp anywhere and seamlessly take on quests to hunt monsters during expeditions. They can also keep another weapon handy on their new Seikret mount and change seamlessly. Head here for the full overview.

Monster Hunter Wilds launches on February 28th, 2025, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out some extensive gameplay from Tokyo Game Show 2024 running in 60 FPS.
