Monster Hunter World Could Get Character Creation Reset Options

If it's something that enough players want.

Monster Hunter World

Monster Hunter World has a really extensive character creator that a lot of people have had a lot of fun with (I personally spent an unhealthy amount of time trying to recreate Makoto Niijima from Persona 5 on the creation screen); however, it’s a one and done type of deal. Once you make your character, that’s what it will look like, you get no option to change that.

However, that could change in the future. At the Taipei Game Show 2018, Monster Hunter World producer Ryozo Tsujimoto said that the feature to redo your character customization could be added into the game later if this is something that the development team feels is what fans want.

“You can’t redo it, but when making a character you can check their expressions, so you might want to do that first while making a character,” Tsujimoto told Game Watch (via Gematsu). “However, if there’s enough demand for it then I’ll put it under consideration.”

So, you know what to do- if you don’t like how your character looks, but don’t want to start all over from scratch, time to make some noise. Monster Hunter World is available now on PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC release scheduled for Fall.
