Monster Hunter World Getting A Second Beta Starting December 22

Carve some monsters this holiday.

Monster Hunter World

If you missed the chance to play Capcom’s excellent Monster Hunter World beta when it was on last week, never fear! They’ll be bringing it back again later this month- specifically, next weekend. From December 22, 9am PT to December 26, 9am PT, Monster Hunter fans on PS4 can carve some monsters for themselves.

As before, the beta will be exclusive to PS4 owners; and while a bulk of the content in this is online multiplayer (though there is still some single player stuff), you won’t need PS Plus to access any of it, which is pretty cool, too.

Considering how great Monster Hunter World seems – rally, if you have ever had even a passing interest in the franchise, you want to check out this game – it’s great that Capcom is trying to ensure as many people as possible are exposed to it. Maybe later they can just release a regular demo like they used to for Monster Hunter games on Wii and 3DS.

Monster Hunter World launches on PS4 and Xbox One on December 26, with a PC release following some time in 2018.
