With Raging Brachydios and Furious Rajang releasing for consoles, Capcom has revealed the next big monster coming to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. It’s Alatreon, the Blazing Black Dragon, and it will arrive sometime in May. Check out the first trailer below.

An Elder Dragon that’s classified as a living natural disaster, Alatreon is perhaps the most dangerous of the lot. It can control four elements – Fire, Ice, Dragon and Electricity – though it’s extremely unstable and can’t harness them all properly. Regardless, it should pose a challenge for seasoned players.

Alatreon will be available in May for all platforms. That means PC players will be able to join the hunt as soon as console players. Stay tuned for more updates en route to its release, especially since Alatreon is part of the four major title update for the game. In the meantime, PC players can hunt Raging Brachydios and Furious Rajang sometime in April.
