Monster Hunter World Iceborne - Fatalis weapons

A new developer diary for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is now live with producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and other team members talking about title update 5. Fatalis was confirmed as the newest monster to be added but there’s a lot more coming with this update. Check it out below and make sure you catch the Fatalis armor set for Palicoes – it’s ridiculously great.

Fatalis will be a regular monster in the game and can be accessed after finishing Iceborne’s story and the Alatreon investigation. More interesting is that Arch-Tempered Velkhana is also coming in this update (though it will be available later in the Fall). Other major changes include the Clutch Claw Boost, which works differently with each weapon type to make wounding monsters easier.

Other changes include new decorations like Elementless Jewel 2, Mighty Bow Jewel 2 and Shield Jewel 2; Soul Stream III being added to the First Wyverian Ritual; and of course, Master Ranked Layered Armor. Players can also unlock new pendants and charms. There’s quite a bit to look forward to on October 1st when the update drops so stay tuned for more details.
