Capcom’s Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be receiving its first post-launch monster later this month with Rajang. The update will arrive on October 10th for PS4 and Xbox One. However, players can also expect a new Volcanic region to be added to the end-game Guiding Lands location.

As per the PS4 event listing of the first title update (according to Gematsu), players will tackle Rajang in a new special assignment. You’ll receive the Rajang Claws pendant for completing the Admiral’s quest but can also explore the Guiding Lands’ Volcanic region. There will be materials that can be used for weapon and armor customization.

Another nice addition is hanging out with players in your own room. There will also be a new music player to set the background song for the room. An equipment display is also coming so you can show off your favourite weapons and armor. Stay tuned for more details on the update when it releases next week.
