Out with the Arch Tempered Kirin, in with the Arch Tempered Vaal Hazak – Monster Hunter World’s newest event quest is now live. If you thought Kirin posed issues, then you might want to be careful with Vaal Hazak. The quest will be available until July 7th so get your tickets quickly.
The Elder Dragon has always been somewhat of a nuisance with his constant Effluviam (which can eventually cut your health in half without any resistance). Arch-Tempered Vaal Hazak takes this further, setting in the toxic air of the Rotten Vale while pumping out Effluviam. If you don’t have any resistance, lots of healing and a health regen augment on your weapon, then the fight will be tough.
However, earning enough tickets from beating Arch Tempered Vaal Hazak will earn players the Vaal Hazak Gamma armour set. Despite lacking Effluvial resistance, it comes with plenty of Dragon Attack, max Recovery Up and Recovery Speed and two points in Peak Performance.
