Monster Hunter World is currently hosting its third and final beta for PlayStation 4. Much like the previous two betas, you can download and play it for free until 6 PM/9 PM ET, January 21st. Those who played the previous betas can use the same client as before. Otherwise, you’ll need to download a 5.5 GB client to access the beta.

Collecting the content from the previous two betas, Monster Hunter World will have two areas to explore and three different monsters – the Great Jagras, Anjanath and Barroth – to battle. The newest addition in the third beta is Nergigante, an Elder Dragon.

Elder Dragons are perhaps the toughest foes in the franchise and Monster Hunter World will see their arrival in the New World. Along with series classics, there will be a few new Elder Dragons as well. The game will release on January 26th for Xbox One and PS4 with the PC release currently aiming for Autumn 2018. Will you be picking it up? Let us know below.
