Moonlighter 2 The Endless Vault

Digital Sun’s Moonlighter, a game about raiding dungeons by night and selling their wares by day, is getting a sequel. Announced during the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault launches in 2025 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PC and sees the return of protagonist Will. Except this time, the art style is fully 3D. Check it out below.

Following the first game’s events, Will and his village end up in Tresna. The overall goal remains the same – venture into dungeons and collect and sell relics. Once you’ve earned enough, you can craft better armor and weapons to venture deeper into the dungeons (which are constantly changing).

You can also invest in improving your shop, and managing it still involves helping customers and cleaning up “unexpected messings.” Other storefronts can also be improved, including the returning blacksmith and witch, for services to assist in dungeon delving.

We’ll need to wait and see how it improves on the original, but thus far, Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault looks like a worthy sequel. Stay tuned for updates in the meantime.
