Following a gameplay trailer for Cyrax in Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns, NetherRealm Studios has released another focusing on Sektor. As a Cyber Lin Kuei loyal to Sub-Zero, she seeks to bring about humanity’s evolution and to break free from Fire God Liu Kang’s influence.
Unlike Cyrax, Sektor relies on homing missiles and flamethrowers in combat when she’s not throwing enemies around. Her ability to hover also confers enhanced maneuverability, which is great for airborne combos. However, her Fatality is arguably the highlight, as she takes her opponent into orbit, freezing their body before falling back to Earth and incinerating them.
If that weren’t enough, she can also transform into a rhino for her Animality (available for all fighters as a free update) and gore the competition. Sektor arrives alongside Cyrax and Noob Saibot as part of Kombat Pack 2 when the expansion launches on September 24th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Conan the Barbarian, the T-1000 from Terminator, and Ghostface from Scream will be added later.
