NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 1 arrives September 19th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch, and takes place in a “reborn” universe. QLOC is working on the PC version, and the minimum and recommended requirements are already available courtesy of its Steam page.

Regardless of other hardware, you’ll need Windows 10 64-bit, DirectX 12 and 100 GB of available installation space. Minimum requirements include an Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 3 3100/Ryzen 5 2600 with 8 GB RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 980, AMD Radeon RX 470 or Intel Arc A750.

Recommended requirements include Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, a Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 3600X, 8 GB RAM and a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, Radeon RX 5700 XT or Arc A770. NetherRealm and QLOC haven’t specified the performance that these specs provide. Hardware needed for 4K and Ultra settings is also yet to be revealed, though that’s likely coming before launch. Stay tuned in the meantime.
