NetherRealm Studios has announced that Mortal Kombat 1’s first Kombat Kast will air on July 6th at 10 AM PT/12 PM CT. It features gameplay breakdowns for Scorpion and Johnny Cage, a “discussion” on Kameo fighters, and more.
Series co-creator Ed Boon confirmed earlier this week that another gameplay trailer, revealing additional main and Kameo fighters, was inbound “soon.” It will likely debut during the Kombat Kast in addition to new details for Scorpion and Cage. Stay tuned for further information when the stream goes live.
Mortal Kombat 1 launches on September 19th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. Those who purchase the $109.99 Premium Edition can access the full game starting September 14th. They also get the Kombat Pack with six new characters (which reportedly include Ermac, Takeda, Quan-Chi and guest characters like Homelander and Omni Man) and five new Kameo fighters. All pre-orders also gain access to the beta coming in August.
