The Mortal Kombat series has become almost become pseudo-crossover series with its DLC practices. Many different characters from various mediums and franchises have found themselves on the bloody fighter’s roster at this point, with the latest being the infamous Joker from DC comics in Mortal Kombat 11. The next DLC character is also from the land of comics with Spawn, a bit of a perfect fit for the world of Mortal Kombat. Now, we know when we’ll get to see him in action for the first time.

As announced in a press release by WB Interactive, we will see first gameplay footage of Spawn in the game during the Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Kompetition finale, dubbed “Final Kombat 2020.” It’s not clear if they plan to reveal the character beforehand in a teaser or something of that nature.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available now for all major platforms. The Final Kombat finale will happen on March 8th, alongside the premier of the first gameplay footage of Spawn.
