Mortal Kombat 11 has now wrapped up its first Kombat Pack, with all six characters in its initial wave of post-launch DLC having come out with Spawn’s recent (and long-rumoured) addition to the roster (and still no Ash Williams, it seems). But the game is far from done, it seems, and NetherRealm Studios might be gearing up to reveal more (and meatier) post-launch content soon.

PlayStation Brazil’s official Twitter account recently posted an update out of nowhere, seemingly teasing upcoming story related DLC for Mortal Kombat 11, along with the words “the saga continues.” The tweet also comes with a short clip, and the promise of a reveal tomorrow, May 6. This is coming out of nowhere, and Warner Bros and NetherRealm themselves haven’t said anything about this so far, so this might have been a premature tease- but keep your eyes peeled anyway.

Earlier this year, Mortal Kombat co-creator and series director and producer Ed Boon said that Mortal Kombat 11 will continue to receive support from NetherRealm, so this does fall in line with that. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you posted on any new updates.

Mortal Kombat 11 is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia.
