Streamlined Unlocks
When the Krypt first launched, it seemed like the ultimate fan service. The classic Krypt, brought back as a fully explorable 3D area with all kinds of Easter eggs and unlocks? It was like a love letter to fans of the series. Of course, with time, the sheer amount of currencies like Koins, Soul Fragments, and Hearts – along with how many were needed – proved an annoyance.
If you want players to earn new Brutalities, Fatalities, Kosmetics, Konsumables, Cinematic Intros and Outros and whatnot, provide a list of milestones (which aren’t too grindy) to earn them through gameplay. No excessive grinding or annoying RNG to deal with.
