MultiVersus Season 1 - Black Adam and Stripe

Announced back in August for MultiVersus Season 1, DC Universe’s Black Adam is finally coming to the free-to-play platform fighter later this week. Arcade Mode is also coming, so stay tuned for patch notes.

The timing for Black Adam is pretty appropriate since the new feature film (starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the titular anti-hero) was released last weekend. As the antithesis to Shazam, Black Adam can also wield lightning and possesses super-strength, super-speed, and lots of durability. Arcade Mode, meanwhile, should provide some much-needed single-player content for fans, though there’s been little information on the exact offerings.

MultiVersus is playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Thus far, Season 1 has seen the addition of Gizmo and Stripe from Gremlins and Rick Sanchez and Morty Smith from Rick and Morty. The Joker may also arrive sooner or later, if not as a playable fighter, then as an announcer, as per recent leaks.
