MultiVersus – Black Adam and Stripe Officially Confirmed for Season 1

Season 1 also includes the addition of Morty from Rick and Morty to the roster on August 23rd, followed by Rick at a later date.

MultiVersus Season 1 - Black Adam and Stripe

After an image leaked for the same, Player First Games confirmed that Black Adam from DC Universe and Stripe from Gremlins will join the MultiVersus roster. They’ll be available later in Season 1 but in the meantime, Morty from Rick and Morty arrives on August 23rd. Rick is available later in the season as well.

Season 1 went live yesterday with a new Battle Pass and several balance changes for characters like Finn the Human, Bugs Bunny, Wonder Woman, and so on. The Arcade and Ranked modes aren’t live yet though. The developer previously announced that not all content would be available on day one. Instead, new content will “be spread through the life of the Season.” It will share dates on the same in the coming days.

As for the Season 1 Battle Pass, it includes free variants like LeBron James’ “I’m Freakin’ Robin” in addition to banners, profile icons, ring outs, and so on The premium track offers the same but with variants like “Tune Squad ’96” for Taz and “Task Force X” for Harley Quinn. There’s no Gleamium (the in-game premium currency), but that could change in the future. Stay tuned in the meantime for more details.
