MultiVersus

Player First Games’ MultiVersus has reached a new player milestone. The free-to-play platform fighter has crossed 20 million players since launching into open beta, as per a recent press release. It entered open beta on July 26th and surpassed 10 million players in just two weeks.

The NPD Group recently reported it as the top-selling game in July in the United States, thanks to Founder’s Pack sales. Season 1 began on August 15th and added a new Battle Pass and cosmetics. Additional content includes the arrival of Morty Smith from Rick and Morty as a new playable character tomorrow.

Black Adam from the DC Universe, Stripe from Gremlins and Rick Sanchez (also from Rick and Morty) are also due to arrive in the next few months. Arcade and Ranked play will also be added as new modes. Stay tuned for further details in the meantime.

MultiVersus is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
