MultiVersus - Jason Vorhees

Player First Games’ MultiVersus is out next week, finally delivering its 1.0 release after the open beta ended last year. In a new blog post, the developer outlined several changes to the economy and rewards for new and returning players. Newcomers who play the tutorial, which offers a “seven-day reward calendar”, can unlock a new character, Adventure Time’s Banana Guard, for free.

The character variant, Lady Banana Guard, can also be unlocked. Returning open beta players can get something even better by June 11th – the premium Battle Pass from Season 1 for free, which includes Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th. They can also receive a Snow Suit Finn character variant, Banana Guard announcer pack, and Rising Stars ring-out animation at any point upon returning.

MultiVersus is out on May 28th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. Check out the launch trailer here. You can also learn more about all the new mechanics, changes to promote better visibility and more here.
