One of Sony’s major developers conspicuous by their absence on the PS4 are Naughty Dog, the development house behind the exemplary Uncharted series, as well as The Last of Us. Rumors have already begun swirling about Naughty Dog’s as of yet unannounced and unnamed PS4 project, and Naughty Dog took to Reddit yesterday to clear some of these up.
“If I said anything about what we’re doing right now it wouldn’t be exciting. The PS4 is awesome. It gives us the chance to do a lot of things that we’ve been talking about for some time. You’ll be in awe when you play it,” said Naughty Dog executive Robert Cogburn.
“If only the Starlight wasn’t so Savage,” added Justin Richmond slyly, in a clear reference to The Last of Us, and the in universe comic book series featured prominently.
This isn’t the first time we have had any speculation about Naughty Dog’s PS4 title either- a few months ago, Lord of the Rings and Lost star Dominic Monaghan seemingly let slip the existence of a new Uncharted and Far Cry game, for example.
